What is Electronic Delivery?

Electronic Delivery is essentially another term for downloading.  When you download something,  it is being electronically delivered as data to your computer or device.  Any product on a CD is stored as digital data.  When you install a program, game, or any other type of media from a CD-Rom to your computer or a device, you are downloading the data from the CD-Rom.  With Electronic Delivery through World Digital, it is basically the same thing except that you are downloading the data from a Server Computer System.  Depending on how fast your internet connection is will be how fast the data will be delivered to you.

What types of products can be delivered electronically?

Any type of media in digital format can be delivered electronically, the question is how efficient it would be to deliver that type of media by Electronic Delivery.  High speed internet users in essence can download any type of digital media in a sufficient amount of time where as in Dial Up internet users would be more limited in how long they would be willing wait and how long to be considered efficient by Dial up.  Most products offered by World Digital are considered to be delivered in a satisfactory amount of time by Dial Up users.

The Difference Between a CD-Rom and a Electronic Delivered product?

The main difference between a CD based product and a downloadable product as mentioned above is in the delivery method.  To purchase a certain form of media on a CD you must go to an outlet or store that offers that product or have it delivered through a postal or courier service.   With Electronic Delivery that product is delivered electronically though the internet directly to you on your computer or device wherever you are located , and how fast you would receive that product would depend on the speed of your internet connection. Most programs require the CD to be present in the CD Drive.  Electronically delivered products do not require any CD's.   If a CD-Rom gets damaged or scratched and will not work,  and the developer disables you to make a backup copy, in most cases you would have to purchase that product again.  If you purchase a product by electronic delivery you may store it on your computer or device or create a copy on a blank CD to put away for safe keeping.  In the event of a small factor that your computer or device would become damaged, you would be able to re-download that product at no cost or a small additional fee.

How Does World Digital operate with Electronic Delivery?

World Digital partners directly with developers and companies who operate with or through the developer that offer or have allowed their products to be delivered by Electronic Delivery.  World Digital never offers any type of Digital Media to consumers that has not been approved or allowed to be distributed electronically by their respective developers and or distributors
